“No one lives long enough to learn everything they need to learn starting from scratch. To be successful, we absolutely, positively have to find people who have already paid the price to learn the things that we need to learn to achieve our goals.” -Brian Tracy

What "Do What They Do" is and what service it performs.

DoWhatTheyDo.com is a website that examines and reviews predominately digital products and sifts out the best of the best in various categories. It originally came about with the understanding that most things that we want to venture into or have captured our interest have been done, been mastered and there is a book, program, system, or philosophy that can put you on the fast track of doing it and mastering it for yourself. It is our aim to make your search for the right product to help you with that faster and safer than just shootin' in the dark.

The reviews that show up on the site will have 4 to 5 star ratings. The only times you will see a product of a lesser rating is when we compare products that have been deemed substandard by virtue of our standards criteria, and they only appear here as aid to illustrate the differences in the products. Basically, we show why the 4-5 star product is so good.

The ultimate aim of DoWhatTheyDo.com is to be like a store, where you have isles of products (Categories) and customer service reps that know a lot about the products that are placed on the shelves (Us). When you pick a category there may be several items in that category, just the same as when you go to the store and want laundry detergent or something... there are several brands to choose from, but which is the best? Every brand on the shelf will scream out, through packaging, that THEY are the best. What we do is sift products through our tests in order to determine which products truly are worthy of your consideration.

The elephant in the room:

We know that there are lots and lots of "review" sites out there. The fact of the matter is that the VAST majority of them are put up for the sole purpose of giving a glowing review of the product that the person is promoting... a little biased I would say... and hardly a trustworthy source for accurate information regarding a product.

I, myself, have often times been frustrated in the past when trying to find unbiased, truthful and useful information about a product that interested me. And I'm sure that that is the same for you.

My name is Zachary Knutson and together with my wife (Joanna), brother-in-law (Mark), sister (Ceci), and friend (David) we have developed a criteria in order to test products, no matter their category. We add new products daily or weekly, it depends on how long it takes to get through the testing phase and summarize our findings. The end goal is to be thorough in our research and provide you with a fast and easy to understand appraisal of the product you want to buy.

Are we non-profit?:

Heck no... but I'll tell you this, I will not give a glowing review to any product that has not passed our tests. We have no vested in any of the products that we rate. In other words, we rate anything and everything we can get our hands on and the ones that pass the tests are the ones that we recommend. If you see other products with lower ratings on the site, they are only there to provide contrast in some cases.

How we get paid is if you decide to use our review as the final decider of your purchase you will likely use the link that we provide to you on the review page. In that way we receive a portion of the purchase price from the vendor itself, not you. Our service is absolutely free to you. To be fair, if you choose one of the lesser rated items on a review page, we will also get paid from them.

Though we aren't non-profit you can rest assured of at least 2 things:

1) We have no vested interest in any one product - If there are 5 products of the same type, they are all tested in order to determine which is the best for you to buy.

2) We only have your best interests in mind - We rate based on the "would I buy it for myself and why?" principle.

Bonus... 3) We never ever, not ever, put anything on the site that is not easily refundable.

On behalf of all of us, thank you so much for stopping by!

Best Wishes,

Zak Knutson
